Introduction to Nature Photography and Hikes
I offer a Pay-What-You-Can intro to nature photography course(weather dependent). This course is for everyone - from basic point-and-shooters to DSLR owners. The 1st half of the course will be on how to use your camera (getting it out of Auto mode!), basic photography techniques, and different aspects of nature photography. The second half will be exploring the park and getting direct feedback on photos you take. And it's for a good cause! Twenty percent of all money collected goes toward a different conservation charity every month.
Gain an appreciation for the beauty that surrounds St. Pete, learning to see through your camera and promoting environmental awareness.
I alternate locations between Northshore Park (13th St. and Northshore Dr NE) in St. Pete and the various nature preserves throughout the city, including Ft. Desoto, Sawgrass Lake, Weedon Island, and Boyd Hill. As the location changes every month, please e-mail or call (727.488.3710) for more information.
Please bring your camera with a full charge, empty memory card and something to sit on.

The Florida Wildlife Corridor Project
The Rewilding Institute Standup Paddle Eco Adventures (SEA)SUP Eco Adventures (SEA) combines the incredible thrill of the outdoors with the unique ecosystems of Pinellas County. We strive to uphold the principles of ecotourism and sustainability by using equipment that is all eco-friendly and by educating the public about the Bay Area’s wetlands and beaches.
The Eco Adventure tour will last approximately 3 hours, where you will discover the mangrove waterways and surf zones of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to learning about the local flora and fauna, groups will be presented with interesting facts about St. Pete and Florida’s history. We strive to combine the exciting experience of gliding on the water with educating the public about our unique ecosystems.
